Requesting a return or exchange

For new orders placed on clementrudnicki.com after this policy takes effect, please notify clement@clementrudnicki.com within 15 calendar days of delivery if you wish to request a return or exchange. Include your order number, the items concerned and your preferred solution. You do not need to provide a reason when exercising your statutory right to cancel.

We will provide instructions and the return address appropriate to your purchase. Contact us before posting to avoid sending your parcel to the wrong location. This procedure does not make statutory cancellation conditional on our approval or shorten your legal deadlines.

Item condition and posting deadline

For a discretionary exchange or the additional day offered beyond the statutory cancellation period, items must be unused, unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with their original tags and packaging. Include your order number or proof of purchase.

When exercising your statutory right to cancel, you may inspect the product as you would in a shop. Opening ordinary packaging or carrying out a necessary inspection does not automatically remove this right. A deduction for diminished value caused by excessive handling may apply where permitted by law.

Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation. Our 15-day commercial notification period does not require the returned parcel to reach us within 15 days of its original delivery.

Costs and exchanges

You pay the direct return postage costs for a change of mind. We do not charge a restocking fee. Exchanges depend on the availability of the requested item and size. Any replacement delivery costs will be stated before you agree; we will not charge an undisclosed flat fee.

Package items securely. We recommend tracked postage and keeping dated proof of posting. If the parcel is delayed, send us that evidence so we can help trace the return.

Earrings and personalised items

For hygiene reasons, we do not offer discretionary change-of-mind exchanges on earrings. Where earrings are supplied with a hygiene seal and cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened, the statutory right to cancel no longer applies after that seal has been removed. This is not a blanket exclusion of refunds and does not affect rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods.

Made-to-measure or clearly personalised items may also be excluded from statutory cancellation where the law permits. Selecting a standard size or colour does not, by itself, make an item personalised.

Refunds and faulty items

Refunds are made to the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method at no additional cost. For statutory cancellation, we refund within 14 days of your notice; we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. If you cancel the entire order, we also refund the original standard delivery cost, excluding any extra charge for a more expensive delivery service.

For returns relying solely on our commercial extension, we initiate reimbursement within 14 days of receiving and checking the goods. We confirm processing by email. The time taken for the credit to appear then depends on your payment provider.

Contact us if an item is faulty, non-conforming or different from what you ordered. Necessary costs of resolving a fault or non-conformity will not be charged to you. Statutory rights continue to apply to sale items, personalised goods and earrings. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.

For purchases made in a physical shop, discretionary exchanges follow the conditions disclosed at purchase. The cancellation right described above concerns distance sales; rights relating to faulty goods still apply.

Earlier orders

Earlier orders for which a 30-day return period was promised retain those terms. The new 15-day policy does not apply retrospectively to those orders. Applicable statutory rights and guarantees remain unaffected.
